FAQs

How long will my appointment be?

It depends on what type of appointment is booked. Patients should expect their appointment to last about an hour, however this will vary.

Can I bring my children?

Patients are always welcome to bring their children with them! Our Escondido location has a play area set up to entertain children while patients fill out any preliminary paperwork. Patients are also welcome to bring their children back with them into the examination room for their appointment.

Can my family come with me to see the ultrasound?

Your family is always welcome to see the ultrasound images of your baby! However, the medical personal will need to obtain some medical information and ultrasound images before they join you. This is to ensure that the sonographer can focus on obtaining optimal images for the doctor, and to address any concerns you might have before bringing your family into the room. We also ask that no videos or pictures be taken at any point during the exam. We will provide you with several ultrasound images to take home with you.

What should I bring if I am a new patient?

Please bring your insurance card if you have one, your ID, and your co-pay.

How early should I arrive for my scheduled appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check in, and to fill out any paperwork before your appointment.

Do you have a translator on site?

We have several staff who are bilingual and speak Spanish as well as English. One of our providers is fluent in Farsi as well. Be sure to tell us your preference so we can schedule you with the provider of your desired language.

Who can access my information?

Due to the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) we cannot disclose patient information to anyone other than the patient. However, the patient can fill out a release of information form that will allow their information to be shared with the person designated on the form.

Do you have female doctors?

We have both female and male providers available for our patients.

If my regular doctor is unavailable, can I see someone else?

We have multiple providers in office who would be happy to see you if your regular provider is unavailable.
