COLFS Medical Clinic Staff


George Delgado, MD, FAAFP practices at Culture of Life Family Health Care, where he and his staff strive to provide the highest quality of personalized medical care, always respecting the sanctity of the gift of human life. Additionally, he is the chief medical officer of The Elizabeth Hospice.

Dr. Delgado welcomes patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. He seeks to establish a partnership with patients and their families to serve them as a trusted healer, educator, advisor and supporter.

Dr. Delgado’s special interests include NaProTECHNOLOGY, bioethics, skin surgery and behavioral health. He and his staff are available to help women and families in difficult pregnancy circumstances, and are fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Delgado received his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s College of California where he graduated summa cum laude and received the biology department’s top honor — the Carlos Freitas Award. He attended medical school and completed his residency training in California.

Dr. Delgado is a voluntary associate professor in the department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the UCSD School of Medicine. He has given numerous presentations to various groups on medical and bioethical topics.

KAREN SAROKI MD, Associate Medical Director

Dr. Saroki is a San Diego native who attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate training. She majored in Integrative Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Saroki attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed her family medicine residency training at University of North Carolina Hospitals. She is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is an NFP Medical Consultant trained in NaProTECHNOLOGY. Dr. Saroki is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

ATEFEH ESLAMI PA-C, Physician Assistant

Atefeh is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine care. She completed her undergraduate studies as University of California in San Diego and continued to obtain her Masters of Science Degree at Hofstra University in New York. Ms. Eslami is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and New York State Society of Physician Assistant (NYSSPA) and is committed to providing quality of compassionate care to all her patients.

JENNA SHURER FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner

Jenna is a Family Nurse Practitioner, nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is originally from Ohio, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kent State University. Jenna practiced nursing in all realms of intensive care, and continued her education to complete a Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. She is passionate about caring for others and empowering patients through education.


Cheris is a registered nurse and graduate from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a BS in Nursing.


Maria Moreno is a native of San Diego, California.  She studied at Palomar College and proceeded to work in the Medical Field as a Medical Assistant, assuring local patients the loving, compassionate care they so deserve in a medical office.

PRISCILLA GARCIA, Assistant Clinic Manager

Priscilla attended the Medical Assistant program at Concorde College. She graduated in 2011 at the top of her class making the Dean’s list. Priscilla completed her externship at COLFS Medical Clinic and has been with us since 2011.
